Data Policy
In our continued commitment to protect customer data and adhere to our consumer’s privacy (please see Privacy Statement), Curiosity Zone Science LLC (herein referred to as Curiosity Zone) outlines below the rules and restrictions on third party data collection. This covers all data generated by or collected from Curiosity Zone and its users while visiting any Curiosity Zone online properties, including but not limited to CuriosityZone.com and ExperimentExchange.com. Any third party collecting or attempting to collect data from Curiosity Zone’s online properties or its users (a “Data Collector”) is hereby notified that it is subject to the following restrictions:
Restrictions on Third Parties.
No party unaffiliated with Curiosity Zone may collect or use, or direct, authorize or assist other persons or entities to collect or use, any data from a user, or a computer or device operated by a user, while visiting Curiosity Zone properties without the prior express written permission of Curiosity Zone. For example, no data may be collected, used or transferred for purposes of retargeting, behavioral remarketing, or targeting any advertisements, segment categorization or any form of syndication which is related to Curiosity Zone, its content, or its users without the prior express written permission in each instance.
Companies affiliated with Curiosity Zone and/or currently partnering with Curiosity Zone may only collect data as stipulated in their agreement with Curiosity Zone. These companies cannot use collected data for ad targeting without expressed written permission. All collectors and their role for a service or a campaign must be disclosed prior to data collection. Curiosity Zone has final rights to all data collection agreements with any third party.
Any third party collecting or attempting to collect data without written and expressed permission from Curiosity Zone may be notified to cease all activity immediately. Failure to comply may result in legal action. Any approved third party ushering in unapproved activity may also be asked to cease.
Data Covered.
The data covered by this policy includes, but is not limited to, data collected via any advertising unit, widget, pixel tag, cookie, script or other data collection process.
Trademarks
“CuriosityZone.com,” “ExperimentExchange.com,” “Curiosity Zone,” “Experiment Exchange” and other trademarks on this Web site are trademarks of Curiosity Zone Science (“Curiosity Zone”) or its affiliates or licensors, and may not be copied, imitated or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of Curiosity Zone. In addition, all page headers, custom graphics, button icons, and scripts are service marks, trademarks, and/or trade dress of Curiosity Zone, and may not be copied, imitated, or used, in whole or in part, without the prior written permission of Curiosity Zone. All other trademarks, registered trademarks, product names and company names or logos mentioned on the Web site are the property of their respective owners.
Curiosity Zone might have other patents, patent applications, trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights covering subject matter in any Web pages, and any software part of the Web site. Except to the extent we may have granted you licenses to certain intellectual property in this Notice, our providing you with such Web pages or any software does not give you any license to our intellectual property. Any rights not expressly granted herein are reserved.
