Make Pumpkin Putty
In this hands-on activity, kids make putty from canned or pureed pumpkin and corn starch. This is a wonderful sensory activity!
This putty is a simple mixture; it is a great way to introduce the littlest scientists to the concept of chemistry, and how you can combine multiple liquids and solids to create something new.
Store your putty in the refrigerator.
Put any amount of canned or pureed pumpkin in a bowl.
Add pumpkin pie spice until it smells heavenly.
Add corn starch by the spoonful until you have stretchy dough.
Knead your mixture into a soft ball and enjoy! This will last in the refrigerator up to 3 days.
